Had an awesome experience having Clara's for the first time! Ordering was a little clunky because her ordering system was not working right but she was very responsive via call/text so no problem sorting it out! I tried the smothered porkchops, Mac and cheese and dirty rice. Everything was super delicious and flavorful! I really felt like I was eating at my aunt's house who always made amazing soul food! She was out of the peach cobbler and cornbread dressing but after trying what she did have, I'm super excited to order again soon and try those along with other entrees! I live pretty close but definitely worth the drive to pick up some great food that truly isn't readily available all over SD!

Clara’s is exactly the soul food I needed tonight to get me through my day! Ros, the owner, was wonderful to talk to and I’m glad we’ve got a neighborhood home kitchen operation to get this incredible soul food. The greens are perfect.

Straight up, this is one of the best soul Food restaurants in San Diego, California. Since imperial Fish market closed down, we haven't known where to go. I am really into surf and soul, but I will tell you this place may have surf and soul beat!!! The greens are delicious. The macaroni and cheese is so creamy but the best part is the catfish. You have to try the catfish and I'll be honest the sweet tea mix with the lemonade is one of the best ones I've had in Years, I will be coming back again the best part about her smiling face you feel like you're at home CLARAS FOR THE WIN

All sides are amazing, the shrimp dishes are super tasty, the sweet tea is delicious, and would order more and more again ! Rosalind is an amazing cook ! The food is so comforting. I ordered online and she prepares it for you. She’s super sweet! Hard working woman ! :)

Clara's Kitchen has amazing food! I was hungry and decided to have soul food for dinner and found this kitchen online. It was absolutely delicious and left me stuffed! For dinner I had garlic chicken, buttered spinach, and mac n' cheese, and finally for dessert peach cobbler. I died and went to heaven with every bite and it's so good. Real food, reasonably priced, and made with love. Please come try her food, you won't be disappointed!

Everything was absolutely spectacular. My son and I loved it. Very good southern cuisine. From pork chop to smothered pork chop to mac n cheese to candied yams. Delicious.

Wow!!! Food was so good!!!! Clara can cook!! I got the lemon pepper chicken with potato salad and Mac and cheese and she gave me a mashed potato and everything was awesome! I tried my friends peach cobbler and that was awesome too!! And the sweet tea to top it off was great!!! Will be back for sure!!!

I ordered the catfish with Mac and yams then lemon pepper chicken with dressing and mash potatoes! So good ! The food is prepared with love and is so fresh .
